British-Nigerian folk musician Paul Ubana Jones is playing a series of gigs around Ho Chi Minh City this week.

 

On Wednesday Mar. 25 and Saturday Mar. 28, Ubana Jones will rock tapas and bodega restaurant Pacharan (97 Hai Ba Trung, Q1) from 9pm onward. And on Sunday Mar. 29, Ubana Jones will play at An Phu restaurant and bar, The Boathouse (40 Lily Road, APSC, 36 Thao Dien, Q2) delighting the crowds from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

 

Ubana Jones’ career has spanned over three decades taking him all over Europe, North Africa, Canada and the US to New Zealand, where he now resides. He has opened for artists like Bob Dylan, Patti Smith and Crowded House, as well as having recorded seven full-length albums.
