For foreign magazines, this little kiosk is a goldmine. Located by the stature of Ho Chi Minh, here you can find everything from Russian Vogue to The Economist.

 

French Bookshop Nam Phong

Selling mainly French language books with a selection of second-hand Folio editions along with art books, coffee table books and French comics. Recently moved to its current, more spacious location.

These two stores are a base for booksellers roaming the streets in the backpacker area, and sell a selection of travellers’ favourites, as well as a range of second-hand books. Also accepts part exchange.

Managed by the Fahasa group, this shop has a wide selection of French cookbooks, Vietnamese cookbooks, huge pictorial table books, lots of maps and a CD section of primarily French and Vietnamese music. Has a great selection of ELT books, English language novels and English learning books for kids. In addition, several foreign lifestyle magazines are available here.
