Comedy with Phil Kay
15 November 2017 8:00 pm
Game On Saigon
Saigon International Comedy will be flying in the legendary Scottish comedian, Phil Kay. One of the best known comics on the UK stand-up comedy scene, and former winner of Comedian of the Year, Phil Kay is first and foremost a storyteller. As he writes in his bio, he's also "a master of mirth and mayhem."
Full of energy and known for lighting up the stage with his unconventional comedic madness, having Phil perform in Saigon is a little bit of a coup.
Here’s what the press says:
“The man remains one of the most consistently brilliant and uncompromising comedians of his and future generations.” — Metro
“… mesmerising headf*** genius.” — Time Out, London
Naturally, a show wouldn't be a show without all the other comics. MCing for the night will be our close-to-resident host, American comic Adam Palmeter. He will be joined by another comedian from the US, Neal Myers-Perry. Neal has been writing and performing comedy for over five years, and has been assaulted on stage three separate times. He is now incredibly good at fighting strangers.
On the local front we have two Vietnamese comics coming to the stage. Returning for the second show in a row is Vu Minh Tu, a female comedian who has vowed to spam your Facebook messages with cat photos. Also strutting his stuff is Hoang Phuc, a comic who is the third wheel in every social gathering. Best lower your expectations, then!
Prepare yourself for a wild night of comedic madness. This one could just bring down the roof.
